Fan Insights brings useful fan information into mym Messages Pro. Instead of checking separate reports or guessing from the conversation history, you can review spending and subscription context while chatting.
Use these insights to personalize your message, choose an appropriate offer, and spend more time on the conversations most likely to convert.
Open Fan Insights
1. Open mym Messages Pro
2. Select a creator.
3. Open a fan conversation.
4. Open the Fan Insights panel beside the conversation.
The panel displays information for the selected fan and creator.
Understand spending behavior
Fan Insights can show:
Metric | Description |
Total spend | The fan’s total spend with the creator, excluding refunded transactions and affiliate earnings. |
Spend by category | A breakdown of spending on subscriptions, private content, Push content, Media on Demand, and tips. |
Average spend | The fan’s average transaction value for supported purchase categories. |
Last spend | The fan’s most recent supported purchase, including its type, amount, and recency. |
Highest spend | The fan’s highest single supported purchase, including its type, amount, and date. |
Spending power | The fan’s 30-day spending tier compared with other mym fans across your agency. |
Chargeback risk | A low, medium, high, or unknown indicator based on the fan’s refund history. |
Monetary insight values are normalized to USD so spending can be compared consistently.
Tip: Use total spend to understand long-term value, then check recent and highest purchases to decide what type and price of offer may be appropriate.
Understand spending power
Spending power compares the fan’s total spend during the last 30 days with other mym fans across your agency.
The fan may appear in one of these groups:
Top 1%
Top 5%
Top 10%
Top 25%
Top 50%
Bottom 50%
Insufficient data
A high tier can help you spot valuable fans, but it should not be your only decision point. Check the fan’s recent activity and conversation context before sending an offer.
Understand subscription information
Fan Insights can also show:
Metric | Description |
Subscription status | Active, expiring, expired, or unknown. |
Subscriber since | The date of the fan’s first subscription. |
Subscription cost | The price and billing period, or whether the subscription is free. |
Auto-renewal | Whether renewal is on or off. |
Expiration date | Shown when a subscription is expiring or has expired. |
This information can help you adjust your approach for new subscribers, loyal subscribers, fans with renewal turned off, and expired subscribers.
Use Fan Insights to personalize a conversation
Here are a few ways to use the panel:
Welcome a new subscriber with an offer suited to their current level of engagement
Thank a returning buyer and refer to the type of content they have purchased before
Use average and highest spend as context when choosing a PPV price
Prioritize a recently active fan with strong spending power
Re-engage a fan whose subscription is expiring or has expired
Be cautious with high-value transactions when chargeback risk is high
Tip: Fan Insights should support a personalized conversation—not replace one. Always use the fan’s messages and preferences as your primary context.
Data updates
Most spending and subscription values refresh periodically. Spending power and chargeback risk are recalculated daily.
If you expect a recent purchase to appear, refresh Fan Insights or switch away from the fan and open the conversation again.
