How to filter your mym inbox

Find the conversations that matter most.

Written by Andrea

When you’re managing dozens - or even hundreds - of conversations, knowing where to focus your attention is crucial.

Messages Pro includes inbox filters that help you quickly find unread conversations, active fans and private content requests, so you can prioritize your workload without manually searching through your inbox.

Filter by online fans

Use the Online filter to display only fans who are currently online. Responding while fans are active can help create faster conversations and improve engagement.

To filter your inbox:

  1. Open Messages Pro.

  2. Select the Online filter above your inbox.

The conversation list updates immediately to show only fans who are currently online.

Filter by unread messages

The Unread filter displays conversations containing unread messages. This is useful when you’re starting a shift or catching up after time away, allowing you to quickly identify new activity.

To view unread conversations:

  1. Select the Unread filter.

  2. Browse the updated conversation list.

As you read messages, conversations are automatically removed from the filtered view.

Filter private content requests

Private content requests often represent valuable revenue opportunities. The Requests filter helps you find these conversations quickly, making it easier to review and respond without them getting buried among other chats.

To view requests:

  1. Select the Requests filter.

  2. Open any conversation to review the fan’s request.

Tip: Checking the Requests filter regularly helps ensure your team never misses a private content opportunity.

Use filters together with tabs

Inbox filters work alongside creator and fan tabs. For example, you can filter your inbox to show only online fans, open several conversations in separate tabs and continue chatting without returning to the inbox after every reply.

This workflow makes it easier to manage multiple conversations while staying focused on the fans who matter most.
