Build stronger relationships with fans by welcoming them as they subscribe. Whether you want to introduce yourself or say thanks with exclusive content, the delayed welcome message lets you do that in a natural (and automatic) way.
1. Segment your audience
Select which list you want to send the message to or use the smart filtering rules
Add exclusion rules to avoid jeopardizing your active chats with misplaced or poorly timed automated messages:
Fans who were sent direct messages, automated messages or priority messages recently | Exclude fans who have received a message from you within the last set days or hours.
For example: avoid sending a PPV campaign to a fan you’re chatting 1-on-1 with. |
Fans who previously viewed attached media | Extend the shelf life of your PPV, while ensuring fans aren’t receiving the same material twice |
Fans with unread messages | Exclude fans who have responded to you, but you haven’t gotten to yet |
Creator | Exclude other Creators. |
Lists | Exclude members of specific OF lists |
2. Set the rules
Chose to send the message immediately when they the fan comes online or after a delay. The delays are set at random intervals to humanize the automation.
3. Choose the frequency & scheduling
Decide whether the to only send the message once or every time the fan matches the trigger.
4. Build the message or sequence
Add your message text. Use the
{name}
tag to personalize the messageInclude emojis or import a Script
Add media from Vault Pro & set a PPV price
You can stop here or your can add up-to 5 more messages to the sequence.
For example, you can create a drip campaign by sending a teaser preview as the first message and if the fan doesn’t respond after 3 hours, send a second preview that’s a bit more revealing and so on.
Or, simply add pauses between messages to humanize the automation.
Collections
Think of a collection as different version of the message. The purpose is to make sure the fan isn't receiving the same message over and over again.
You can add up-to 10 collections to 1 message.
When a message is triggered, 1 of the 10 will be picked and sent at random.
For example, you create the following 2 collections:
Collection | Message 1 | Message 2 |
1 | Welcome back, {name}! | I've missed you! |
2 | Hello {name}! | So glad to see you online! How are you sweetie? |
Each time a fan comes online, they'll receive 1 of the 2 at random. So;
Monday: Welcome back, {name}! I've missed you!
Tuesday: Hello {name}! So glad to see you online! How are you sweetie?
Auto-unsend settings
Unsend messages
Automatically withdraw free or locked messages within hours &/or minutes of the fan receiving it to avoid looking spammy. This will remove all messages in the sequence.
Stop message sequence
Once a fan responds, the sequence is broken and a chatter can step in (on by default).
