Sending and receiving requests

Learn how to send, receive, and manage requests

Updated over a week ago

There are two ways you can send and receive requests:

What is the S4S profile page?

Think of your profile as a LinkedIn page—except designed exclusively for Share for Shares!

Each Creator request page has its own unique URL.

To find your request link, have a look at your Invite page. Request pages don’t require an Infloww account to view, and it shows most of the information available on the profile.

Anyone can request an S4S from the Creator’s request page. If the requester has an Infloww account, it takes one simple click and the request is sent. If they don’t have an account, they can create one while making the request. It’s that simple.

Note: Any time a creator joins Infloww while making a S4S request via your invite link, you'll be rewarded with 7 free days added to your subscription!

What details are displayed on the profile page?

Learn about account types, details, and request limits to make the most out of your S4S experience

Every Share for Share on Infloww begins with a request. When a Share for Share is requested, Infloww shows the requester's profile details to the receiver.

These details include:

  • Creator account type:

    • VIP: Creator accounts that require fans to pay to subscribe

    • Free: Creator accounts that fans can subscribe to for free

    • Free Trial: Creator accounts that offer fans a limited-time free trial before they need to pay to subscribe

  • Creator Rank percentage pulled directly from the platform

  • The number of subscribers

  • Preview of requester’s S4S post, as it will appear on the receiver's account

You can only request S4Ss with a Creator that has a similar account type (VIP to VIP, Free Trial to Free Trial, Free to Free).

Creators are limited to 50 requests per day. It is only possible to send one request at a time. Once a request is accepted or declined, you can request another S4S (even if the first one is scheduled and hasn't occurred).

Note: You can only send one request to a Creator a day. A Creator may choose to block you from requesting an S4S if they believe that you are sending them excessive requests. It is important to be patient and respectful toward other Creators in the community. If your rank improves, you can try to follow up with them at a later time.

How to accept requests

We've made it easy for you to accept S4S requests from other Creators

When a request is received on the Requests page, you have three choices:

  • Accept: the request will be accepted, and we will use your primary post

  • Skip: the request will be skipped so that you can still activate the request at a later time and view your other requests

  • Decline: the request will be declined, and the requester will be notified

Once a request is accepted, we will schedule your S4S based on the nearest available day that both Creators are available. One factor is considered when finding the nearest available day:

On the day of the scheduled S4S, Infloww will automatically publish each Creator’s post directly on the platform. Our algorithm will determine the best time to post the S4S. Once live, each post will remain for 24 hours before being automatically removed.

You can accept unlimited requests per day.

How to view scheduled requests

With the Schedule page, managing, creating, and planning S4S posts has never been easier.

You can keep track of your progress by viewing the total number of completed S4S posts and your total growth (fans gained or lost). The Share for Share monthly calendar lets you plan and keep track of all scheduled S4S posts, so you can make the most out of your time.

In summary, the S4S schedule gives you an overview of:

  • Total Growth: The number of fans you've gained or lost since you linked your account to Infloww

  • Scheduled S4S: The number of scheduled share for shares in a given period

  • Completed S4S: The number of completed share for shares in a given period

To better understand how we calculate Total Growth, here's an example:

You had 500 fans when you joined Infloww. After 4 months, at the time of checking, you have 700 fans, resulting in a total growth of 200.

How to check the status of a request

Curious about your S4S requests? Finding out is easy.

You can view the status of requests at any time on your Requests page.

The statuses are:

  • New Request: When a request has been received

  • Request Sent: When a request has been sent

  • Accepted, scheduled for [date]: When the request has been accepted and scheduled

  • In Progress: When an S4S is live and has been posted on each account

  • Completed: When an S4S that was live for 24 hours has now been removed

  • Rejected: When the request has been declined by the recipient

  • Canceled: When the request has been canceled

Why was my request canceled?

On Infloww, a canceled request can occur for a number of reasons

If your S4S request was canceled, it could be because:

  • A requester changed their mind

  • Technical issues, such as when a Creator’s account was no longer connected to Infloww

  • You canceled your Share for Share plan, but the scheduled S4S post is outside of your payment cycle (ex., your subscription ended in April, but your S4S is scheduled to go live in May).

About S4S limits

While Creators are capped to a maximum of 3 S4S posts within a 24-hour period, you have the option to set your own daily S4S limits. This is not mandatory, but it is a feature that allows you to make the most out of your time so you can focus on doing what you do best—creating!

How we monitor your Share for Shares

Feeling concerned about your Share for Share? No worries.

We will monitor and verify whether the post has been taken down before the 24-hour limit. If a Creator has taken the post down early, Infloww will issue a warning to the offender.

Note: Repeat offenses will result in a permanent ban from the Infloww community. For more information, see our Content Policy.
