AI Translator, integrated into Messages Pro, translates fan conversations in real time. Incoming messages are shown in the employee’s preferred language, while outgoing replies are automatically translated into the fan’s language.
Settings
To enable the AI Translator:
Click on Settings
Click AI Translation
Enable AI Translation
Select which languages incoming messages should be translated to
Choose whether to only show the translated message from fans
Translating entire conversations
After selecting your preferred language in Settings, you can enable automatic translation for the entire conversation:
1. Click the AI Translator icon in the conversation window.
2. Toggle automated translation to On.
Once enabled, all existing and future messages will appear translated into the language you chose.
Chatting with fans
While in this mode, responses are translated in real-time to the fan's language. The fan's language is automatically detected:
Automated translation should be on
The response is translated in real-time to the fan's language (automatically detected)
Select Use translation to use the translated message
Translate individual messages
Rather than having the entire conversation translated, the employee can choose to translate individual messages:
Switch off the automated translation
Select the AI Translator symbol next to the individual message to translate it to the language defined in Settings.
Chatting with fans
In this mode, you can translate messages as you go. The fan's language is automatically detected:
Switch off the automated translation
Select the AI Translator symbol in the message field
The message is translated. Select Use translation to use the translated message
