Question

Answer

What happens when:

  • Message with free media is sent to a fan

  • This message is withdrawn after 2 hours

Will the system treat the fan as if they've never received the content (considering it's been withdrawn)?

Yes. After withdrawing a message, the sent record is removed as we can't be sure the fan has opened the message.

Why can't I unsend/withdraw a message after 24 hours?

Withdrawing a message needs to be within 24 hours due to OnlyFans' unsend limitations.

I've set up a message to expired fans. The status is Active, but no message has been sent. Why?

The expired fans message is triggered every 12 hours.

Is it possible to unsend or delete messages only for those who haven't read it after X time?

Unfortunately, there's a limitation on OnlyFan's side would cause fan conversations to be read and an employee could miss actual 1-on-1 chats.

Why is it taking so long to send my priority mass message?

Priority mass messages mimics human behavior and has a limit of 1 message sent every 3 seconds enforced by OnlyFans.

It's limited to 1000 messages per hour.

Can I send a priority mass message to my entire fan base?

We don't recommend this. Not only will it take ages (it's limited to 1000 messages per hour, see above) but priority mass message was designed for you to target key fans for a higher conversion rate.

Is the auto-unsend/auto withdraw based on the time the message was sent or the message received?

It's based on the time the message was received.

However, it's not possible to unsend/withdraw the message after 24 hours due to OnlyFans' limitations.

Can I exclude individual users from Smart Messages?

Smart Messages are designed to be used at scale so it's a better workflow if you create an "Exclude from Smart Messages" list that's always selected in Exclude rules.

That way, you can keep adding users to that list instead of worrying about always updating the individual Smart Message.

Why can't I add more than 50 lists to Exclude?

It's capped at 50 lists to ensure optimal processing performance.

I've cancelled a priority mass message, why can I not manually withdraw it?

If you've set the message to automatically withdraw after X hours, the withdrawal is already done and there's no need to withdraw it manually.
